The Joy of Books

  1. This made me laugh – I have a Kobo (bought by fiance as birthday gift last year) and last week I dragged him into a book store so I could purchase not one but THREE new novels. I could hear him fuming behind me at the counter – “Can we not download this? Seriously!”
At least I can challenge him now with “but downloads don’t dance at night, honey”.

  2. Thank you for your comment, Carolyn. Your story made me laugh! The magic of literature, the tactile nature of books – I don’t think we’ll ever lose that, no matter how many books we read on screens:-)
